Maisie Williams is an English actress and dancer. She’s best known for her role as “Arya Stark” in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Her film credits include The Falling and The Book of Love. Williams was born Margaret Constance Williams on April 15, 1997 in Bristol, England. Her mom, Hilary Pitt Frances, is a former educator. She has three older siblings, James, Beth and Ted. Williams was raised in Clutton, Somerset. She attended Norton Hill School and studied performing arts at Bath Dance College.

CAREER
Williams made her television debut as “Arya Stark” in the HBO fantasy drama series, Game of Thrones. The show premiered on April 17, 2011. She won two Portal Awards in 2012, one for Best Supporting Actress and the other for Best Young Actress. She’s also won an EWwy and an Empire Award. Williams guest starred as “Loren Caleigh” in The Secret of Crickley Hall (2012) and later as “Ashildr” in Doctor Who (2015). She starred as “Casey Jacobs” in the television film, Cyberbully (2015). She’s also done voice work for the Adult Swim sketch comedy series, Robot Chicken (2014).

Williams was featured in the independent short films, Heatstroke (2012) with Stephen Dorff, and Gold (2013) with James Nesbitt. Her feature film debut was the mystery-drama, The Falling (2014). Her lead role as “Lydia Lamont” earned her the London Film Critics’ Circle Award for Young Performer of the Year. The Falling was written and directed by Carol Morley. Williams starred opposite Jason Sudeikis and Jessica Biel in The Book of Love. Her upcoming projects include iBoy (2016) and A Storm in the Stars (2017).
